On Sunday Elizabeth had the honour of being asked to judge the World Skills Competition held at Meadowbank TAFE.

De Lorenzo Gold forum Sydney 2011 Awards

Rachel recently won an award in the De Lorenzo Gold forum Sydney 2010 competition and as a result she featured in the December 8th issue of the "Northern District Times": -

• "Miss Elizabeth's Hair Studio in Epping team is no stranger to industry awards, with all staff being encouraged to compete. Rachel Sanders joined the studio five years ago and is the latest of the staff to pick up an award, adding a first place trophy to three earlier successes. She had to present a blonde, brunette or redhead with fashion currency in a competition conducted by De Lorenzo Australia. Not to be outdone by her rivals, Ms Sanders was the only competitor to present one of each. Her inspiration was a pinup girl and military theme, with influences coming out of Europe this season, such as rope and braid work, crimping and any combination of texture, softness and structure."

Rachel is also entering the De Lorenzo Gold Gallery competition for which she is required to submit before and after photographs of her work. We wish her the best of luck. Below is a preview of her submissions. The bottom right hand photo is the "before" shot.
