Motor Neurone Disease Charity Cocktail Party
On Thursday 25th June 2009, the team at Ms elizabeth's attended & supported the Motor Neurone Disease charity cocktail party at the Royal Sydney Yacht Club in Kirribilli.
It was a wonderful evening mingling with the professors, physios, admin team, nurses, sufferers of this dreadful desease and their family and friends. We heard their stories and now have a better understanding of the struggles they face. The speeches were interesting, informative and inspiring.
Ms Elizabeth's donated $1,000.00, including a make over gift voucher and a big basket of haircare goodies. There were many other generous donations, including sports memorobilia, Dior jewellery and other top end skin care baskets. Thanks to these donations and the sale of original artworks, the event raised $35,000.00 to support the New Macquarie University Hospital MND research unit. Fingers crossed for them in their search for that missing link.
Our "Image is more than just Fashion" Evening
Look at how fabulous our local Florist Linda Langley from Beautiful Blossoms looks after we got hold of her. Now the outside matches the inside.
She has beautiful wavy hair which was not working to her advantage. We layered it, highlighted it and designed it to compliment her 4 am flower market life style. She looks years younger !
